There's so much to do here at Chemo Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Parks Pond Campground is a great location for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Penobscot River. You're sure to stumble upon some fine folks from Bangor here, and if you came to camp Red Barn RV Park is a nice site to do that. The yearly rainfall here at Chemo Pond is       about average; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the driest month. At Chemo Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Chemo Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Brook is a pretty stream that is worth a visit, and there's whitewater on Stillwater River for                  all you adrenaline kick people. Yeah, come here to Chemo Pond for a tremendous time. Near Chemo Pond you hit upon the Old Gold Mine Trail which is a great hiking trail, and University Inn Academic Suites is a fine spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail, and swamps like Chemo Bog are fun to go to. Going for a hike on the Peaked Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Lakes are splendid; Snowshoe Pond is a lake that's right next door to Chemo Pond.
