In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Chase Ponds is one of them. Chase Ponds is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Pelletier's Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Chase Ponds; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Island Pond Trail, and get wet paddling on Big Brook River. Why not

| | take a refreshing hike along the Fox Brook Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chase Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Little Black Check Point. For the period of the warm months highs here at Chase Ponds get into the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Chase Ponds temperatures drop to the-10's. Hiking along the Round Trail is perfect fun, and glide down the rapids of Fish River in a kayak.
