     There's so much to do here at Chase Bog that you need to camp here for a while, Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a pleasant site for that, and the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. If you get bored of Chase Bog, you could also visit close by Chase Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Austin Stream; a lake close by is Doughnut Pond. The warmest time of the year at Chase Bog comes with  
   high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Chase Bog are in the 0's.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do next to Chase Bog. After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chase Bog has to offer, you can camp
 
               at Northern Outdoors. Bingham Motor Inn is a fine location to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Carrying Place Stream. Chase Bog gets a typical amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most snow, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
The peak of Black Nubble can be observed from Chase Bog; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Arnolds Trail.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
