A pleasant close by hotel is White Mountain Hotel and Resort, and whitewater paddling is good on Wild River. Take a little journey to Charles River since you're
here at Charles Pond, and the slopes of Black Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Charles Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; September on the other
hand is the driest.
These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. There are great locations to explore along the Weeks Brook Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have
a look at Lake Kezar Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Charles Pond is not the only place nearby, Lower Kimball Pond is a nearby lake, and camping is available at Cove Camping Area. If you want a good time in the great outdoors
just come on up to the White Mountains. There's always Kezar Lake Dam to visit close to Charles Pond, and get wet paddling on Saco River - East Branch.
