This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at New Hermon Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Marsh Stream. The annual rain here at Chapman Pond is about average; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.       Moose Pond Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and Streamside Golf Course is a golf course nearby. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Chapman Pond. After a long day outdoors Belfast Harbor Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Chase Bog is an out of the ordinary swamp in the neighborhood of Chapman Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Chapman Pond is not the only place close by, Lily Pond is a close by                  lake, and why not check out nearby Chase Stream since you're here at Chapman Pond. A splendid nearby hotel is Seascape Motel & Cottages, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a magnificent sight of Croxford Mountain from Chapman Pond. Throughout the warm months at Chapman Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's.
