Chapman Pond is a relatively wet place usually with a good deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is September. The warmest time of the year at Chapman Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. All through the winter       highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Chapman Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ossipee River; why not camp at River Run Canoe Rental and Camping if you're here at Chapman Pond. If you need a site to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a glorious choice, and from Chapman Pond you obtain a wonderful view of Fork Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Very scenic scenery and pleasant skiing                  is what you get at Shawnee Peak, and going for a hike on the Weeks Brook Trail is always a glorious adventure. Camping is available at Windsong Campgrounds, and there are brilliant spots to explore along the Kearsarge Trail. Be careful coming to Chapman Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. What would winter be without some skiing at King Pine; a lake close by is Spectacle Ponds.
