This lake is so wonderful. A delightful nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. At Chandler Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while Chandler Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in       the-10's. Millinocket Stream has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and going for a hike along the Mooseleuk Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Any time is a glorious time at Chandler Lake if you like the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Machias River, and you'll hit upon a charming lake called Burnt Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A day at scenic Gilman Beach right next door to Chandler Lake is a                  fine thing to do; if you came to camp Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a wonderful place to do that. Chandler Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Homestead Lodge is a delightful local campground, and a good panorama of scenic Chandler Mountain is available. Hiking along the Round Trail is glorious fun, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Chandler Deadwater.
