This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at South Branch Pond Campground. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Webster Brook, and you're probably keen on lakes, Cedar Pond is one of those close by. The amount of rainfall that falls at Chandler Brook Deadwater is close to       the national average; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Hiking along the Freezeout Road is good fun, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Munsungan Stream. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Chandler Brook Deadwater; the night is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
