In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith Brook; there are other spots here than Chamberlain Lake, for example Mud Pond. All through the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Chamberlain Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout       the wintertime temperatures at Chamberlain Lake dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Chamberlain Lake you can take a hike along the Old Telos Tote Road, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Ellis Brook. Lakes? Sure, Indian Pond is close at hand, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Carry Trail. Any time is a good time at Chamberlain Lake if you adore the outdoors. The slopes of Big Squaw are so inviting                  nobody can resist.
