Do have a look at Big Pond next to Chair Pond, it's a delightful lake, and the Alder Path Trail offers hiking at its best. Chair Pond ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is August.       This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Narraguagus River, and Sunset Point Campground is a good campground nearby. Summertime highs at Chair Pond generally tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chair Pond. You                  just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in close proximity to Chair Pond has to offer. A delightful spot to go to in the neighborhood of Chair Pond is Bar Ledge, and glide down the rapids of Pleasant River in a kayak. While you're here at Chair Pond, you could also go to gorgeous East Steuben Pond, and Pigeon Hill is clearly visible from Chair Pond.
