     The beauty of Chair Pond attracts many people from all around. The high level of rainfall makes Chair Pond a rather wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain while August is ordinarily the driest month. A tour to Carrying Place Cove right next door to Chair Pond is always a brilliant idea; hiking along the The Anvil Trail is nice fun. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at East Steuben Pond right next door to Chair Pond, it's a lovely lake.
Summertime
 
   brings highs in the 70's to Chair Pond, and the overnight is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Chair Pond are in the 10's. This place, Chair Pond, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There's so much to do here at Chair Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mainayr Campground is a splendid location for that; going for a hike along the Alder Path Trail will let  
               you absorb the natural beauty of this region. After a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Pleasant River is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to visit near Chair Pond is Bar Ledge; if the weather is delightful, you acquire a great sight of Pigeon Hill from Chair Pond. If you came to camp Sunset Point Campground is a pleasant spot to do that, and whitewater paddling is great on Narraguagus River. If the weather is good here at Chair Pond, you can go for a hike along the Schoodic Head Trail; you'll find a scenic lake called Big Pond.
