There's just no way someone can get bored here at Center Pond. While you're here at Center Pond you can take a hike along the Millinocket Lake Tote Road. Center Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Homestead Lodge;       you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Mooseleuk Tote Road. Center Pond is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and Katahdin Inn is a great spot to get some rest. Summertime at Center Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Center Pond overnight                  low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. Center Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Center Pond, and Millinocket Stream has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Paddling on Munsungan Stream is so much fun, and hiking along the Round Trail is great fun.   Katahdin Inn, Millinocket 42 miles away The Econo Lodge is located at the northern end of the Appalachian Trail.
