What a nice lake Cedar Swamp Pond is. Parks Pond Campground is a wonderful campground here, and do take a hike on the Old Gold Mine Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Tannery Brook River. This lake is so wonderful. White Birches Country Club is a pleasant place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sunkhaze Stream.

| | are plenty of folks from Bangor here at Cedar Swamp Pond, and you can stay the night at Branch Lake Camping Area. Don't leave Cedar Swamp Pond without first checking out Eagle Bluff, and you obtain a good vista of Rebel Hill from here. From a rain point of view Cedar Swamp Pond is a relatively normal spot; most of the rain falls during November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Bald Mountain Trail is tremendous fun. Any time is a magnificent time at Cedar Swamp Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Lucerne Inn is a great choice. Lakes? Sure, Cranberry Pond is in close
proximity. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cedar Swamp Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Cedar Swamp Pond tend to be in the 0's.
