Visit East Inlet since you're here at Cedar Pond; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Parlin Pond Stream. High temperatures at Cedar Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Cedar       Pond through the winter regularly sink into the-10's. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do close to Cedar Pond. Moose River Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave Cedar Pond without first going for a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Moose River - South Branch offers some good whitewater, and there are good places to explore along the Sally Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not                  camp at Jackman Landing Campground since you're here at Cedar Pond; the slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting noone can resist. Cedar Pond is not the only site nearby, Holeb Pond is a nearby lake, and you can go for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
