    Many people like to go to Cedar Pond. Cedar Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. If the weather is delightful, you get a magnificent panorama of Cedar Mountain from Cedar Pond, and Pleasant River - East Branch has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cedar Pond without first paying a visit to  
   Gauntlet Falls, and if you came for an overnight stay Big Moose Campground is a great spot to camp.
Lakes are pleasant; Cooper Pond is a lake that's right next door to Cedar Pond, and Big Squaw is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. It's a glorious idea to take a look at Babble Brook, it's close to Cedar Pond, and the Pleasant River Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
Through the warm days of summer at Cedar Pond temperatures
 
               are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Cedar Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This place, Cedar Pond, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cedar Pond; Jo-Mary Trail is a glorious local trail, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pleasant River - East Branch. Camping is available at Jo-mary Lake Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Packards Trail.
