Have a great hiking adventure along the Packards Trail; Gauntlet Pond is a perfect lake nearby. Cedar Mountain is clearly visible from Cedar Pond, and do take a hike on the Jo-Mary Trail. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Gauntlet Falls; Pleasant River - East Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Babble Brook, and there are other sites here than Cedar Pond, for example

| | Jo-Mary Pond. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Cedar Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Squaw is in close proximity to Cedar Pond; if you came to camp Big Moose Campground is a splendid spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pleasant River - East Branch. There's so much to do here at Cedar Pond that you need to camp here | |

for a while, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a brilliant site for that, and hiking along the Pleasant River Trail is perfect fun. A typical amount of rain falls here at Cedar Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the
most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the long summer days at Cedar Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through
the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Cedar Pond tend to be in the-10's.
