If you are in Penobscot county it's always a good idea to stop by Cedar Lake. Cedar Lake is a good place of common rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. So much exciting stuff to do here at Cedar Lake, too great to be true. A glorious location to camp here at Cedar Lake is Big Moose Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Millinocket Stream. This lake is so

| | wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Penobscot River - West Branch, and if you need a location to stay Pray's Cottages is a fine choice.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cedar Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Bangor. There's great hiking along the Gray Ledge Dam Trail, and Cedar Mountain is a peak you can see from Cedar Lake. Camping is available at King's Trailer Park; the Ragged Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Cedar Lake get into the 70's, and the
nighttime is a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cedar Lake sink into the-10's. Looking for some flowing water? Try Sand Beach Brook, and great hiking is available along the Cedar Lake Trail.
