     Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest; on a lovely day you obtain a wonderful panorama of Cedar Mountain from Cedar Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a good choice; if you came for an overnight stay Allagash Gateway Campsite is a great place to camp. Cedar Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile  
   is the driest month. Don't leave Cedar Lake without first going for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail; Chewonki's Big Eddy Campground is a tremendous local campground.
Be careful coming to Cedar Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Oak Knoll Brook Deadwater; going for a hike on the Cedar Lake Trail is always a splendid adventure. This is a great neighborhood for
 
               people who like lakes. Flatiron Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Gray Ledge Dam Trail. There's whitewater on Penobscot River - West Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and why not take a little trip to Sand Beach Brook if you're here.
Summertime at Cedar Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Cedar Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Millinocket Stream, and the great people of Bangor like to hang out close by.
