From a rainfall point of view Cassidy Deadwater is a reasonably normal place; throughout July this area sees the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Gibert Brook is one of the       streams nearby that might be worth going to; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Penobscot River - West Branch. Just can't get enough of Cassidy Deadwater.
