Why not camp at Gilman Pond Campground since you're here at Carrabassett River Reservoir, and if you've had enough of Carrabassett River Reservoir, Hid Pond is nearby. The Arnolds Trail offers hiking at its best; the slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place to camp here at Carrabassett

During the days of summer highs here at Carrabassett River Reservoir reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Carrabassett River Reservoir. and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrabasset. Carrabassett River Reservoir is a good place of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most
snow; February is the month with the least moisture. Hiking along the Bigelow Range Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid choice; hey, Gotta ski right?
Titcomb is a splendid site to do that. Carrabassett River Reservoir really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Herbert Grand Hotel, and Carrabassett River Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Pinnacle Pond is a nearby lake.
