All through the warm months at Carlton Pond highs are mostly in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's; overnight lows at Carlton Pond through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Martin Stream, and camping at Unity Marina Campground is always a great experience. This lake       is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Shaw Brook; an interesting thing to visit in the neighborhood of Carlton Pond is Carlton Pond Dam. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in the neighborhood of Carlton Pond has to offer. If you need a place to stay Londonderry Inn is a pleasant choice, and a pretty lake like Round Pond is a great location to stop at. After a long day outdoors Pittsfield Motor Inn is a nice location to                  spend a night or two, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Carlton Bog is right nearby. An average amount of precipitation falls at Carlton Pond; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Beech Hill is clearly visible from Carlton Pond, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is Sebasticook River.
