Sure, Rump Pond is just a very short distance away. Bereau Brook flows through this area, and naturally, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Billings Ponds is a lake close by. For the duration of the summer at Caribou Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets       in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Caribou Pond dip into the-10's. Caribou Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. There's glorious hiking along the                  Old Magalloway Trail. Good hiking is available along the Arnold Trail; the skiing at Balsams Wilderness is good. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Magalloway River is so much fun.
