On a pleasant day at Caribou Pond you can take a hike along the Arnold Trail; Magalloway River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Caribou Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cupsuptic Campground is a splendid place for that; lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Parmachenee Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at       Caribou Pond. Hit the slopes at Balsams Wilderness in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Bereau Brook, and there are other sites here than Caribou Pond, for example Otter Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Caribou Pond a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. Stay the night at Deer Mountain Campground, and the Old Magalloway Trail is a great hiking trail close by.                  During the months of summer at Caribou Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
