If you are in Franklin county it's always a good idea to stop by Caribou Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River; Deer Farms Camps and Campground is a great campground nearby. Caribou Pond is a good site of common precipitation; November is the wettest month with most snow, and February meanwhile is the driest month. | | for an overnight stay Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is a great site to camp, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Saddleback.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Caribou Pond, you can go for a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail. look at, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Fire Warden Trail.
The warmest time of the year at Caribou Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into
the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Caribou Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a good place to spend a night or
two, and a good vista of wonderful Lone Mountain is available. A fine site for whitewater paddling right next door to Caribou Pond is Orbeton Stream, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Bigelow Range Trail.
