Caribou Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Penobscot       River - West Branch in a kayak. Lakes? Sure, Bear Pond is in close proximity. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a perfect site to spend a night or two; if you're here you can take a hike along the Carry Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Caribou Lake. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. There's so much to do here at Caribou Lake that you need to camp here                  for a while, Frost Pond Campground is a good spot for that. At Caribou Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Caribou Lake. Otter Pond is a good lake near Caribou Lake, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Number Four Mountain Trail.
