Very delightful water scenery is available at Caribou Dam in close proximity to Caribou Deadwater, and a lake close by is Cassidy Deadwater. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Caribou Deadwater. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Caribou Deadwater is Penobscot River - West Branch, and why not camp at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground since you're here at Caribou Deadwater. | | can always go whitewater paddling on Caucomgomoc Stream; camping is available at Seboomook wilderness Campground. Caribou Deadwater is a good spot of common rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
