     If you came to camp Eagle Lodge & Camps is a tremendous location to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Shore Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Penobscot River, and let's not forget Cambolasse Stream which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. Through the warm days of summer here at Cambolasse Stream Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into  
   the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cambolasse Stream Reservoir. There's whitewater on Mattawamkeag for all you adrenaline kick people, and Cambolasse Stream Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Camping is a splendid local campground.
If you get bored of Cambolasse Stream Reservoir, you could also stop by close by Stump Pond,
 
               and if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a splendid choice. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cambolasse Stream Reservoir; Shore Road Trail is a glorious local trail; since you're here you can play some golf at JATO Highland Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Gray Ledge Dam Trail, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.
Cambolasse Stream Reservoir is not far at all from Bangor. The annual rain here at Cambolasse Stream Reservoir is about average; during November this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. A lake nearby is Mill Pond; why not visit Mill Pond Dam since you're here.
