Through the days of summer here at Butterfield Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Butterfield Lake. Bigrock has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and a       pleasant place to camp here at Butterfield Lake is Aroostook River Camping and Recreation. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Limestone Country Club; Little Black Brook Lake is a delightful lake close by. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Butterfield Lake; through August this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
