This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Saddleback while you're here. High temperatures at Butler Pond through the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows       in the-10's for Butler Pond. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Butler Pond. You're possibly keen on lakes, Rush Pond is one of those close by, and the Bigelow Range Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Going for a hike on the Morrell Trail is always a good adventure. Lakes are wonderful; Everett Pond is a lake that's near Butler Pond. From a rain point of view Butler Pond is a relatively typical site; most of the                  rain falls through July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cupsuptic River; why not camp at King & Bartlett Lake Camp while you're here at Butler Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Sugarloaf USA, and you can observe Camera Hill from Butler Pond.
