A nice location to camp here at Butler Pond is Happy Horseshoe Campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? Titcomb is a nice site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Stream, and camping at Deer Farms Camps and Campground is always a brilliant experience. While you're here at Butler Pond you can       take a hike along the Fire Warden Trail, and after a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Butler Pond. Going for a hike along the Arnolds Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; Butler Pond is not the only place nearby, Hid Pond is a nearby lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Butler Pond is close to the national                  average; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn, and if you've had enough of Butler Pond, Safford Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Carrabasset in a kayak, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Bigelow Range Trail. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Butler Pond reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's.
