It's always fun to stop by Butler Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Hid Pond near Butler Pond, it's a pretty lake, and Clay Brook Mountain is clearly visible from Butler Pond. Through the warm days of summer at Butler Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Butler Pond fall into the 0's. Going for a hike

| | along the Bigelow Range Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some delightful whitewater. Titcomb is a very popular ski area close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Carrabasset. to spend a night or two, and camping at Happy Horseshoe Campground is always a great experience. Butler Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is November, and the driest month is February.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Butler Pond. A glorious nearby hotel is Sugarloaf Grand Summit Resort Hotel, and do take a hike on the Arnolds Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Butler Pond is delightful
enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Farms Camps and Campground is a delightful local campground.
