Dam is not far at all from Burntland Stream, and do stop at Whitney Brook, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Sweets Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Burntland Stream has to offer,
you can camp at Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge and Campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon Brook; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Kennedy Tote Road.
