Maine has many beautiful lakes and Burntland Pond is one of them. If you came for an overnight stay Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is a tremendous spot to camp, and the top of Burnt Hill is easily distinguished from Burntland Pond. A normal amount of rain falls here at Burntland Pond; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is February. Old Quarry Ocean Adventures is a splendid campground nearby, and Goose Falls has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Going for a hike on the Black Dina Trail is always a fine adventure, and a good location is Dow Ledge. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a delightful location to get some rest. the outdoors. Inner Harbor is worth checking out while you're here, and close by you find the Sawyer Notch Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Burntland Pond. All through
the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Burntland Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Allen
Cove is rather near Burntland Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a splendid choice. Labrador Swamp is a swamp close to Burntland Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue Hill Falls.
