Any time is a good time at Burnt Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail. Lakes are great; Little Burnt Pond is a lake that's near Burnt Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at University Inn Academic Suites, and if you want to       play some golf, you're in luck because Lucerne Golf Course is in the vicinity. Camping is available at Branch Lake Camping Area; no need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Eagle Bluff. There's tremendous hiking along the Old Gold Mine Trail, and after a long day outdoors Homestead Motel and Cottages is a good site to spend a night or two. Nothing beats kicking back at Dunn Beach. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tannery Brook River, and                  not far from Burnt Pond you'll find Mountain Pond which is a gorgeous lake. For the period of the long summer days here at Burnt Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burnt Pond. Burnt Pond is a good place of common rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
