Camping at Parks Pond Campground is always a great experience, and don't leave Burnt Pond without first going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail. Any time is a good time at Burnt Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail. Camping is available at Branch Lake Camping Area; no need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Eagle Bluff. not far from Burnt Pond you'll find Mountain Pond which is a gorgeous lake. For the period of the long summer days here at Burnt Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The
cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burnt Pond. Burnt Pond is a good place of common rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the
driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious view of charming Pisgah Mountain is available from Burnt Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Branch Lake Stream offers some delightful whitewater.

 | 17 miles away Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.
We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
