     Camping at Parks Pond Campground is always a great experience, and don't leave Burnt Pond without first going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail. Any time is a good time at Burnt Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail. Lakes are great; Little Burnt Pond is a lake that's near Burnt Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at University Inn Academic Suites, and if you want to  
   play some golf, you're in luck because Lucerne Golf Course is in the vicinity. Camping is available at Branch Lake Camping Area; no need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Eagle Bluff.
There's tremendous hiking along the Old Gold Mine Trail, and after a long day outdoors Homestead Motel and Cottages is a good site to spend a night or two. Nothing beats kicking back at Dunn Beach. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tannery Brook River, and
 
               not far from Burnt Pond you'll find Mountain Pond which is a gorgeous lake.
For the period of the long summer days here at Burnt Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burnt Pond. Burnt Pond is a good place of common rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious view of charming Pisgah Mountain is available from Burnt Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Branch Lake Stream offers some delightful whitewater.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....

Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.

We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us. Maybe you just want to lay around on our beach and do nothing but listen to the loons, whatever the case may be come and do it with us at Pushaw Lake Campground and let us make your camping experience the best yet....
