     Maine has many beautiful lakes and Burnt Meadow Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Dyer Pond; you can never get enough of the great skiing at King Pine. If you came for an overnight stay Woodland Acres Campground is a pleasant location to camp, and a glorious close by hotel is Oxford House Inn. The high level of rainfall makes Burnt Meadow Pond a relatively wet place;  
   November is the wettest month with most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month.
Lakeside Pines Campground is a glorious campground here, and if you need a site to stay Jockey Cap Motel & Country is a fine choice. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Burnt Meadow Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Burnt Meadow Pond. This lake
 
               is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you acquire a panorama of Kezar Hill from Burnt Meadow Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Kearsarge Trail.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Burnt Meadow Pond; Weeks Brook Trail is a splendid local trail; whitewater paddling is fine on Ossipee River. Just can't get enough of Burnt Meadow Pond. Good hiking is available along the Province Brook Trail, and do stop by Burnt Meadow Brook if you're here at Burnt Meadow Pond. Why not visit Burnt Meadow Pond Dam since you're here, and skiing at Shawnee Peak is one of those things you just must do.
