Billington Brook flows through this area, and there are plenty of people from Lewiston-Auburn here. Yeah, come here to Burgess Pond for a pleasant time. After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Rack Pond is close at hand. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Burgess Pond; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures       throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Burgess Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Burgess Pond a pretty wet location; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lost Valley. There's so much to do here at Burgess Pond that you need to camp here for a while, East Livermore Campgrounds is                  a good site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Titcomb is a very popular ski area close by, and going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Fayette Ridge can be seen from Burgess Pond, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid site to get some rest. Burgess Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Riverbend Campground is a perfect local campground; glide down the rapids of Sandy River in a kayak.
