     The beauty of Burgess Pond attracts many people from all around. Titcomb is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Burgess Pond while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter  
   for Burgess Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of folks from Lewiston-Auburn here.
So many entertaining things to do here at Burgess Pond, too great to be true. A round of golf at nearby Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club is a great way to kill some time; if you come at the right time of year, Wilson Stream offers some good whitewater. A nice
 
               nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and why not a little side spree to Billington Brook. There's so much to do here at Burgess Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Riverbend Campground is a glorious place for that; there are some nice whitewater spots on Sandy River.
This lake is so wonderful. Fayette Ridge is clearly visible from Burgess Pond. Burgess Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Burgess Pond has to offer, you can camp at East Livermore Campgrounds; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lost Valley.
