The fishing is excellent in the early spring for large and smallmouth bass. The water is beautiful and is perfect for cruising on a nice boat and enjoying the sunset. Get dripping wet paddling on Little Ossipee River; if you came to camp Camp Cherith is a brilliant place to do that. Ricker Hill can be made out from Bunganut Pond. Take a side trip to Carll Branch, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Sanford Kennebunkport Area is       a fine choice. At Bunganut Pond throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Bunganut Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The smiling folks of Portland-South Portland like to hang out nearby, and while you're here, you could also stop by lovely Trafton Brook. You just                  can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Bunganut Pond has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River; a magnificent close by hotel is Sanford Inn.
