    Go to Brown Brook Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. The amount of rain that falls at Brown Brook Pond is close to the national average; through July this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Camping at South Branch Pond Campground is always a good experience, and whitewater paddling is nice on Millinocket Stream. If you need a site to stay Katahdin Inn is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Munsungan Stream
 
   has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and here at Brown Brook Pond you can see Willard Mountain. If you want to take a look at some interesting stuff, take a look at Norway Bluff; great hiking is available along the Eagle Lake Tote Road. For the duration of the summertime months at Brown Brook Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures through the  
               winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Brown Brook Pond plunge into the-10's.
Don't leave Brown Brook Pond without first going for a hike along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road, and Brown Brook Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a fine local campground. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Brown Brook Pond. Go for a hike on the Mooseleuk Tote Road. Lakes are good; Mooseleuk Lake is a lake that's next to Brown Brook Pond.
