There's so much to do here at Brooks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Christies Lakeside Camping is a brilliant spot for that, and paddling on Kenduskeag       Stream is so much fun. Brooks Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is November; February on the other hand is the driest. A glorious close by hotel is Pine Hill Motel; glide down the rapids of Martin Stream in a kayak. Moosehead Inn is a good place to get some rest, and New Hermon Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Brooks Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are                  in the 50's.
