     B Stream is a great whitewater spot next to Britton Lake, and you can stay the night at My Brothers Place. The slopes of Bigrock are so inviting nobody can resist, and hiking along the Kennedy Tote Road is tremendous fun. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn, and if you get bored of Britton Lake you could also take a look at nearby Long Lake. Be careful coming to Britton Lake, you might not ever want to return home again.  
   Gentle Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Britton Lake is right by the Sweets Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a good choice. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Britton Lake; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Britton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wilde Pines Campground is a delightful spot
 
               for that; do take a hike on the Pierce Tote Road.
In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meduxnekeag River - South Branch; since you're here, you could visit Dead Stream. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Britton Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Britton Lake drop into the 0's.
