There's so much to do here at Briley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Burnette's Trailers and Tents is a good place for that; soar down the rapids of Great Works River in a kayak. Briley Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cape Neddick Campground is a great local campground; this is a popular place for people from Portland-South Portland. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and       hit Atlantic Ocean, and Village Green Ocean Front is a good location to get some rest. If you're looking for a beach in close proximity to Briley Pond, we recommend Short Sands, and pop by nearby Bridges Swamp. You can observe Simpson Hill from Briley Pond, and swing by Cape Neddick River it's a glorious site to check out. Any time is a fine time at Briley Pond if you love the outdoors. While you're here at Briley Pond, you could also pop by scenic Indian                  Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Stage Neck Inn, Incorporated. This lake is so wonderful. Barn Point is not far from Briley Pond at all, and no need to travel far to explore interesting stuff like Dover Bluff. Briley Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while January is regularly the driest month. A good beach in close proximity to Briley Pond is Long Beach. High temperatures at Briley Pond through the summer months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
