Cape Neddick River is a good site to go to; a good beach nearby is Long Beach. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do next to Briley Pond. Why not camp at Cape Neddick Campground while you're here at Briley Pond; you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Bridges Ice Pond. Briley Pond ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while January is regularly the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. You should go to Barn Point when you're here at Briley Pond; Short Sands is a beach nearby that you can check out. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A tremendous place to camp here at Briley Pond is Burnette's Trailers and Tents, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Great Works River. Stage Neck Inn, Incorporated is a good place to get some rest; from Briley Pond                  you get a great panorama of Simpson Hill. Swamps are attention-grabbing places and Bridges Swamp in the vicinity of Briley Pond is no exception, and what would a site like Briley Pond be without out of the ordinary close by marks like Dover Bluff. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Village Green Ocean Front, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Portland-South Portland here. Summer at Briley Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Briley Pond are in the 10's.
