If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lost Valley is next to Brettuns Pond, and Bear Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Brettuns Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Brettuns Pond       night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Titcomb is good, and at Brettuns Pond you always meet someone from Lewiston-Auburn. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Nelson Pond in the neighborhood of Brettuns Pond, it's a scenic lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nezinscot River. After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a tremendous                  place to spend a night or two; on a pretty day you get a fine vista of Butter Hill from Brettuns Pond. Sandy River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping is available at Bear Pond Campground Fun Park. This place, Brettuns Pond, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.
