    A visit to Brassua Lake is always a good idea. The warmest time of the year at Brassua Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Brassua Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Misery Stream is a stream you can check out while you're here, and going for a hike on the Intake  
   Trail is always a great adventure.
At Brassua Dam near Brassua Lake there are some exciting things to see, and why not go to Pages Point also since you're here. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Brassua Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Brassua Lake has to offer, you can camp at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground, and a tremendous close by hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake. From a precipitation point of view Brassua Lake is a pretty
 
               common spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Drift down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Seboomook wilderness Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebec River - West Outlet; close by you hit upon the Big Squaw Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
