Do visit Long Pond close to Brassua Lake, it's a beautiful lake; Pages Point is very near and is a great spot to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Brassua       Lake, you could also check out wonderful Baker Pond; you can run the rapids of Moose River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Brassua Lake has to offer, you can camp at Seboomook wilderness Campground. Summertime highs at Brassua Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer                  temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Brassua Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Going for a hike along the Intake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. Misery Stream is near Brassua Lake and is always a pleasure to take a look at, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Kennebec River - West Outlet. The yearly precipitation here at Brassua Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through July, and February on the other hand is the driest.
