The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sugarloaf USA, and the snow is brilliant at Titcomb. After a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and getting to Carrying Place Stream from Brandy Pond is simple. And that's not all you can do here  
   at Brandy Pond. Brandy Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Gilman Pond Campground is a perfect local campground, and Brandy Pond is not the only location nearby, Rowe Pond is a nearby lake.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Brandy Pond; the month with most of the snow is November; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Carrying Place Stream; hiking is a popular thing to do

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
