Having a perfect time at Bran Lake is simple. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Francis River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Fox Brook Trail. Through the long summer days here at Bran Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while the cold       winter nights at Bran Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Cross Rock Inn, and Little Black Check Point is a good campground here. Not far from Bran Lake, you'll locate McLean Lake which is a charming lake; you can stay the night at Lakeview Campgrounds. McLean Mountain is a peak you can make out from Bran Lake, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Island Pond Trail. American Dream Resort is a nice                  place to get some rest. Bran Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August; February is when it's the driest.
