If you are in Aroostook county it's always a good idea to stop by Bran Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bran Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pelletier's Campground is a brilliant local campground, and there are some nice whitewater spots on St. Francis River. Don't forget to take a nice little trip to Jones Brook; unsurprisingly, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, Third Lake is a lake nearby.
