For the period of the summer highs here at Brainard Pond reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Brainard Pond are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is great on Cobbosseecontee Stream, and Winthrop Motel is a delightful       site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Brainard Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Mill Pond Dam in close proximity to Brainard Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Augusta-Waterville here, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Cobbosseecontee Stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brainard Pond has to offer, you can camp at Augusta West Lakeside Resort, and it's a splendid idea to pop by Beaver Brook. A large amount of rain falls at Brainard Pond; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest.
