Shiretown Motor Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest; on a great day you can go to Caineron Bog, a swamp in the neighborhood of Bradbury Lake. Summer at Bradbury Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bradbury Lake       temperatures sink to the 0's. You can run the rapids of Meduxnekeag River - South Branch close to Bradbury Lake, and there's delightful hiking along the Pierce Tote Road. An average amount of rain falls at Bradbury Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Gotta ski! Bigrock is a great spot to do that; the Kennedy Tote Road offers hiking at its best. Now, you may feel that's                  a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Bradbury Lake. If you came to camp Wilde Pines Campground is a delightful place to do that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Sweets Trail. There's whitewater on B Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Houlton. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Bradbury Lake to spot the water at Lamb Brook Dam. This lake is so wonderful.
