You can catch a glimpse of Peekaboo Mountain from Brackett Lake, and Longfellow Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Whitewater paddling is great on Baskahegan Stream, and it's a brilliant idea to check out Deering Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Brackett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a perfect       site for that, and the Potters Trail offers hiking at its best. If you're here at Brackett Lake, do take a visit to Dark Cove; a great nearby hotel is Scottish Inn. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Brackett Lake. If you need a location to stay Greenland Cove Camps is a wonderful choice, and Brackett Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Old Farm Inn is a good local campground. At Brackett Lake during the warm days of summer                  highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Brackett Lake through the winter ordinarily dip into the 0's.
