Shiretown Motor Inn is a delightful location to get some rest; Mountain View Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Brackett Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Brackett       Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Brackett Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Acadia National Park is a perfect local destination here at Brackett Lake, and Deering Brook is near Brackett Lake and is always a delight to stop at. Going for a hike on the Potters Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Peekaboo Mountain is clearly visible from                  Brackett Lake. If you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a fine choice, and soar down the rapids of Baskahegan Stream in a kayak.
