For the period of the warm months at Brackett Lake highs are mostly in the 70's; the night is rather cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Visiting Acadia National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; a brilliant spot to camp here at Brackett Lake is Greenland Cove       Campground. You can run the rapids of Baskahegan Stream near Brackett Lake, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Longfellow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Deering Brook is right next door to Brackett Lake and is always a pleasure to pop by, and Brackett Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a glorious local campground. If you need a spot to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a wonderful choice, and do schedule                  some time to have a look at Dark Cove if you have a chance. Going for a hike along the Potters Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Peekaboo Mountain can be seen from Brackett Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rainfall here at Brackett Lake is about average; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Brackett Lake.
