     A lake close by is Mud Pond, and why not stop by Fahi Pond Dam while you're here. Boynton Pond gets a common amount of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the snow; February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Boynton Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Boynton Pond are in the  
   0's. If you come at the right time of year, Austin Stream offers some delightful whitewater, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Titcomb.
Any time is a glorious time at Boynton Pond if you go for the outdoors. Bingham Motor Inn is a good location to get some rest, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Arnolds Trail. After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight
 
               stay Abnaki Family Camping Center is a good location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at The Evergreens Campground and Restaurant.
This lake is so wonderful. Boynton Pond is not the only location close by, Fahi Pond is a close by lake; the skiing at Eaton Mountain is perfect. On a fine day at Boynton Pond you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Carrabasset.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
