You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Eaton Mountain if you're here; if you come at the right time of year, Carrabasset offers some good whitewater. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Boynton Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Fahi Pond Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and Boynton Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, The Evergreens                  Campground and Restaurant is a good place to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Austin Stream, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnolds Trail.
