If you are traveling by, why not stop by Boyden Stream Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Get drenched paddling on Cobscook Falls, and taking a little trip to close by Leach Point is a pleasant idea. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Boyden Lake is a lake close by, and of course Boyden Stream flows through this area. Float down the rapids of Whiting Bay in a kayak, and Hilltop Campground is a great campground nearby.

| | Throughout the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Boyden Stream Reservoir while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Boyden Stream Reservoir descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Perry Pump Station Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a fine site | |
