    In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Boyden Lake is one of them. Boyden Lake is not the only spot nearby, Pennamaquan River Reservoir is a nearby lake, and if you're here, you could have a look at Mill Brook. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Boyden Lake, you could also visit close by Boyden Lake; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cobscook Falls. Boyden Lake gets a good deal of water;  
   November is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month.
All through the warm months highs here at Boyden Lake get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Boyden Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a delightful national park, and Boyden Lake
 
               is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Hilltop Campground is a perfect local campground. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Boyden Lake.
Camping at Knowlton's Seashore Campground is always a tremendous experience, and Dennys River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by.

This was my 1st camping trip in many years. We stayed 3 nights with no problems. The grounds were quiet, well maintained and many sites had a beautiful view of the tidal inlets with no view of the neighbors. We plan to return....
