There's so much to do here at Boyd Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maine Mountain is a good place for that, and a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is Saco River. Foss Ponds is a nearby lake that you could visit, and dry warm beds await you at Sanford Inn. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Boyd Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into       the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Boyd Pond. Boyd Pond usually gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and September is the month with the least moisture. If you came to camp Blackburn's Camp Ground is a good place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel is a fine choice.                  You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Boyd Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Peak.
