If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Boulter Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Great Works River in close proximity to Boulter Pond. There's so much to do here at Boulter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Flagg's Trailer Park is a great place for that. Near Boulter Pond you hit upon a golf course called Ledges Golf Club; nothing beats kicking back at Seapoint Beach. For the duration of the warmest

| | time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's at Boulter Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Boulter Pond. Swamps don’t sound that great but Cranberry Swamp right next door to Boulter Pond is reasonably great; if you're visiting from Portland-South Portland, you won't be the only one. Pond, and Crescent Beach is a beach close by that you can go to. And that's not all you can do here at Boulter Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Boulter Dam, and swing by
Barrell Farm Brook it's a good location to check out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Boulter Pond has to offer, you can camp at York Beach Camper Park, and a tremendous close by hotel is Best Western York Inn. You
just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Boulter Pond has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Deerings Pond, and while you're here you must stop at
Goodrich Point. Boulter Pond is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. Lakes are good; Indian Pond is a lake that's close to Boulter Pond; after a long day outdoors Coachman Inn is a good location to spend a night or two.
