Bottle Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. Maple Grove Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Nicatous Stream. During the summer highs here at Bottle       Lake get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Bottle Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. So much enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of Bottle Lake, truly phenomenal. Lakes are pleasant; Keg Lake is a lake that's close to Bottle Lake. Not far from Bottle Lake, you'll stumble on Pug Hole which is a scenic lake, and some of the water nearby flows,                  like Dill Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Old Farm Inn is a wonderful local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Baskahegan Stream.   Scottish Inns Houlton, Houlton 42 miles away Our Motel is in the center of the Houlton area.
