    Why not stop by Booth Quarry Pond if you're passing through these parts. If the weather is tremendous here at Booth Quarry Pond, you can go for a hike along the Trail Point Trail, and paddling on Goose Falls is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Arey Cove is in the vicinity and always glorious to stop at, and nothing beats kicking back at Indian Camp Beach. Camping is available at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park, and you can hit the beach if you want, Clayfers  
   Beach is practically right here.
A brilliant nearby hotel is Tidewater Motel. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail close to Booth Quarry Pond called the Western Head Trail, and if you need a place to stay Candlepin Cabin is a great choice. On a lovely day you get a panorama of Barley Hill from Booth Quarry Pond, and there are plenty of people from Rockland here.
Throughout the summertime at Booth Quarry Pond highs are usually in the 70's,
 
               and the night is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Booth Quarry Pond. You definitely should go for Booth Quarry Pond. Camping at Duck Harbor Campground is always a perfect experience, and a fine place close by is Bunker Ledge. The Ebens Head Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Booth Quarry Pond, and glide down the rapids of Ducktrap River in a kayak.
